Epson Perfection V500 Photo Scanner is a great scanner that can scan negatives, slides and medium-format film and is also great for photo enlargements. The Compatibility of the system should be observed for this to work well.  Thus requirements should be identified for proper blending of the system. The minimum system requirements for this device would be IBM compatible PC with Pentium 450MHz or higher processor.  For Macintosh requirements it would be Power PC G3 400 MHz or Intel based CPU.
